	Rob Scammell

	Rob started diving over 20 years ago when living and working in Spain. He began his diving career within the CMAS system, working his way through to become a CMAS Instructor. Later, Rob became both a PADI and a BSAC Instructor. He became a PADI Course Director in 1999 and, subsequently, has become one of the busiest and most experienced PADI Course Directors in the UK, working with many dive centres, both in the UK and overseas. Rob runs between 12-18 PADI OWSI programs per year. Rob ran his own successful dive school in the Midlands for several years, working in partnership with various health clubs in the area, offering quality training programs to their members. Due to his success as a Course Director, Rob moved away from the dive school, focusing on Instructor training programs instead. Rob has also been used as an expert witness by the HSE (Health & Safety Executive) in their diving incident investigations which, in turn, gives him invaluable knowledge and resource to the Legal Responsibility and Risk Management segments of his IDC programs. Rob was also involved with DAN UK for several years as their UK Training Coordinator. He qualified as Instructor Trainer Examiner and was involved in the design and launch of many of DAN's programs, along with being involved in training many of the UK's Instructor Trainers. Rob also has an extensive First Aid background. Having originally been a Medic First Aid Instructor, Rob became an EMP Commercial First Aid Instructor in First Aid at Work, Care Initiator, Paediatric First Aider, and, subsequently, became an Instructor with EMP in these areas. Now, with the successful launch of EFR, Rob is happy to be involved with the EFR programs as an EFR Instructor Trainer. Rob has extensive diving experience, in many different diving conditions - from Russia to Australia. Rob has over 5000 logged dives and a wealth of divers tales to tell!
