Dive Master crew packThree weeks of intensive training or a few months of internship given by our two Instructors, Kat and Ed, will see you on the first rung of the professional diving ladder. Among other things, you will be taught how to demonstrate skills to student divers, how to recognise and correct mistakes they might make, and how to advise a customer on the best equipment to suit their needs.

On this course it is now a PADI requirement that you have a Dive Master manual, the Diving Knowledge Workbook, Encylopaedia of Recreational Diving, RDP Wheel, RDP, electronic RDP and Dive Master slates.  You can either purchase these independently, or ask us to get them for you.  On this course, there is a lot to take in, so getting the reading materials and independent study done before you arrive is a must for most people!

COURSE MATERIALS REQUIREMENT*:  You must have your own copy of the Dive Master Manual, Diving Knowledge Workbook, Encyclopaedia of Recreational Diving, Dive Master slates, a whistle, knife, timing device, RDP, electronic RDP and RDP wheel.

PREREQUISITES: You'll need to be a PADI Rescue Diver (or equivalent) with a suitable first aid qualification (not more than 24 months old). You must have at least 50 logged dives at the beginning of the course & 60 by the end unless you are opting for the internship option, and be at least 18 years old. You will also need to have a Dive Master medical.

  * From 1st January 2006, PADI requires you to have your own copy of all materials listed above.Got a question? Read our Open Water FAQ's
